E series Uface devices are capable of registering multiple employee verification methods. With this, we can utilise multi factor authentication for employees when clocking onto devices.
Limitations
- Face and card recognition profiles are the only methods that can synchronise with other devices in the BundyPlus Environment.
- Fingerprint and password recognition DO NOT synchronise with other devices within the BundyPlus Environment.
- This means these methods will need to be replicated on each device within your BundyPlus Environment
- Verification methods DO NOT synchronise between devices
- Tap on Settings (bottom right)
- Tap on Personnel Management
- Set your required verification methods
- Face Recognition
- Tap on Registration...
- Tap on the square and register each face
- Ensure 3 images are stored
- Tap the back arrow to return to the Personnel Management screen
- Card Recognition
- Tap Card No.
- Enter card number
- Hover the card over the Card section on the bottom of the screen OR
- Enter the card number in the field above
- Tap Save
- Password Recognition
- Tap on Password
- Enter password (Must be 6 digits)
- Tap Save
- Fingerprint Recognition (FP Models only)
- Tap on Fingerprint
- Tap on New Fingerprint
- Follow the prompts
- Tap on Fingerprint
- QR Code (Not supported)
- Face Recognition
- Tap on Verification Mode
- De-select any Single Access Methods
- Select your preferred Multi-Verification method
- Face + Card
- Password + Card
- Tap Save
If the device shows an error, return to step 3, set the required verification method, and save. - You have now set the verification mode for this employee.
- Repeat for each employee required.
