Each G8 Series Time Clock models have specific settings that can be customised according to your requirements.
Entering Peripheral Settings:
- Tap on the three lines at the top left of the screen
- If prompted, input your admin credentials (99999DDMM - Time Clocks Current date)
- Tap on System Settings
- Tap on Peripheral Settings
G8 Proximity Time Clock/s
Proximity Card Settings
- Type- Will only work with the current proximity module.
- Eg. 26Bit reader will require HID-26 type
- Card Formatting-
- Left Hand Justify: Will only register the first X number of digits of the prox card
- Right Hand Justify: Will only register the last X number of digits of the prox card
- Alignment Offset- Adjusts how many numbers will be used dependent on the Card Formatting.
- RHJ set to 1 will convert a card id of 42661 to 1.
- LHJ set to 1 will convert a card id of 42661 to 4.
G8 Magstripe Time Clock/s
Magstripe Card Settings
- Type- Two options of Track-2 or OFF
- Card Formatting-
- Left Hand Justify: Will only register the first X number of digits of the magstripe card
- Right Hand Justify: Will only register the last X number of digits of the magstripe card
- Alignment Offset- Adjusts how many numbers will be used dependent on the Card Formatting.
- RHJ set to 1 will convert a card id of 42661 to 1.
- LHJ set to 1 will convert a card id of 42661 to 4.
G8 Biometric Time Clock/s
Biometrics
- Operation Mode- Determines how the employees will clock onto the device
- Verify: Requires employees to type their ID first then place their finger to match the finger to the image stored against their ID in the Time Clock.
- Identify: Requires employees to place their finger on the sensor to match against any template in the Time Clock
