Configuring Bell Events (Uface 7-E73 Only)

Bell event functionality can provide further autonomy on your business processes. Bells provide a way to ensure all employees go to lunch at a predetermined time.

Requirements:

• Time clock must be model Uface 7 E73
• Time clock must be firmware version v35.3603 or newer

Note: No requirement to change any configurations on Daylight Savings Change

Granting Bell access

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Time Clock Terminals
3. Click on the time clock model corresponding to the time clock you want to grant Bell access
4. Scroll down and Enable the Bell events feature.
5. Click Save
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each clock requiring bell event functionality

Configuring Bell Events

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Bell Events
3. Click on Add Relay Event
4. Fill out the details below per relay event:
   
   Details:
   • Name
   • Description
   • Time Clock - Select all or Individual compatible devices to send the bell event config
   • Event time - Time the bell event will Trigger
   • Day of Week - Select the day of week to trigger
     
   • Active period(Seconds) - Set any time between 1 and 10 seconds to trigger the bell event
5. Click Save
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each time you would like the bell to ring.

Send events to compatible devices

To send Bell events to the time clock, click on the 'Send events to time clock' text below the Bell Events heading.
