A Roster Officer user can assign shifts to employees through the Roster Calendar, however, they do not have access to Roster Settings, Shifts, Application Settings, Timesheets, or Employees. Roster access is granted under the Supervisor role.
This is only applicable if the account has Rostering enabled.
How to assign Roster access
- If the employee already exists, open their Employee Profile.
-
Go to the Login tab.

-
Enable Rostering access.
-
Click Save and Invite.
-
Click Send.
-
A green “Invite sent” popup will appear if successful.
- Please note that the invitation must be accepted by the user within the expiration period set in the onboarding settings.

Note:
The Group Filter is set to All Groups by default. To filter by specific groups, the Roster Officer must be assigned as a Supervisor to those groups.
