Geofences enable you to ensure your employees clock in/out within predefined locations. You can have multiple geofences for different addresses.
You will also be able to manage your Geofence validation, whether it is mandatory or not to be able to clock in/out of a Geofence.
Enable your Geofence
- Go to Settings
- Click on Application settings
Click on the Geolocation tab
Check the Enabled checkbox to Enable
Note:- When Enable geofence address pooling is enabled, it will use the Geofence Address to show as where the clocking event was made within the specified radius.
- Click Save
Configuring your level of Validation
Select your preferred level of validation. Each Level described as below:
- High: Employees must be within the geofence to clock in or out. If they are outside, the clocking action is blocked.
- Warning: Employees can clock in or out regardless of their location, but receive a warning if they are outside the Geofence.
- Disabled: Geofencing validation is not applied; employees can clock in or out from any location without location checks or warnings.
