Ensuring the correct timezone is set for each time clock ensures accurate timestamp translations when clocking event data is downloaded via ClockComms.
Notes:
- Updating timezone settings does not affect already recorded data
- Timezone must match the location where the clock is physically installed
Step-by-Step Process:
- Open the ClockComms Utility on the PC where it is installed.
- Access the Maintenance Centre:
- ClockComms v9.X.X (Manual Mode): Click Settings at the top right
- ClockComms v8.X.X (Manual Mode): Click Maintenance Centre at the bottom right
- Repeat (Automatic) Mode in either version: Press
Ctrl + Mon your keyboard
- Click on Time Clocks
- Select each of your time clocks.
Review the Time Zone field and ensure it is set to match the clock's physical location.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
The selected clocks will now display and log time using the updated timezone.
