Each cloud time clock device can be assigned an External ID. This ID is used to link clocking event data exported from the cloud via the ClockComms API or third-party payroll systems. It helps connect each employee’s clocking data to their respective location.
Requirements
- BundyPlus Live Cloud Account - Enquire here
- Time Clock Terminals assigned to your account.
If you do not have any devices assigned, contact BundyPlus support with a list of your time clock device serial numbers.
- Time Clock Terminals assigned to your account.
Configure your device
- Go to Settings
- Click on Time Clock Terminals
- Click on the green Model text next to the time clock you want to update
- Update the External ID - What you enter is dependent on your use case:
- ClockComms export - ClockComms will download the clocking events with an external
- Clocking transactions report - Having an external ID on a time clock device will allow you to search the report for any clocking events coming from this device.
- Payroll Export (API): Payroll systems such as Optima and MYOB Acumatica workforce management

Payroll Export (Payglobal) - Must be a 9 digits in length eg 0001.0003.
- Click Save
- Repeat steps 3 to 6 for each device.
