Mapping data to MYOB Advanced Payroll

When using the MYOB Advanced Payroll API, you must define and map your pay items in BundyPlus with their counterpart in MYOB. This will ensure that the interpreted data that is exported to MYOB can easily determine which pay item the payable hours should be assigned to.

Requirements

• Integrated with MYOB Advanced Payroll
• Created Pay Items in BundyPlus - More detail in the last section below
  Note: Ensure the 'Export Text' in BundyPlus Matches the 'Internal ID' of MYOB Pay items.

Getting to the Data Maps screen:

In MYOB Advanced Payroll:

• Search for 'Data Map'
• Click on 'Data Map' under the 'Timesheets' heading

The next three sections are completed in this screen.

Creating the Source

1. Select the Magnifying glass to the right of 'Source'
2. Select BUNDYPLUS - If there is no 'BUNDYPLUS' option, select the 'Pencil' icon to the right of the Magnifying glass icon and skip to step 4
   
3. Click on the 'Select' Button, go to the next section.
4. Click on the + sign to 'Add Row'
5. Enter Details below:
   1. Set the new row as 'Default type'
   2. Set the 'Source type' to 'BUNDYPLUS'
   3. Set the Description to anything you choose (can be blank)
   4. Enable the 'Time Card type' checkbox
6. Click on the Save icon and close the popup window

Mapping Employee ID's

1. Select 'Employee' in the Entity type field
   This will list all employees in MYOB Advanced Payroll
2. Copy all employee Internal ID's over to the External ID column
   Export the data, copy and paste it between columns, and then re-upload the file using the Export and Load buttons in the ribbon area below the 'Data Maps' heading.
3. Once the above is completed, Click Save

Mapping Pay Items

1. Select 'Pay Items' in the Entity Type field
   This will list all pay items in MYOB Advanced Payroll
2. Copy all Pay item Internal ID's to the External ID column
   Export the data, copy and paste it between columns, and then re-upload the file using the Export and Load buttons in the ribbon area below the 'Data Maps' heading.
3. Once the above is completed, Click Save

Update BundyPlus Live with the Pay items
