For clients who wish to retain their legacy time clock devices (G6/G8/Z6) while transitioning to a cloud-based solution, our integration allows for seamless data upload of employee clocking events to the cloud. This guide covers the two essential stages: activating the API in your BundyPlus Cloud account and configuring the API within ClockComms. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth and efficient setup.
Requirements:
- BundyPlus Live Account - Enquire here
- Only Available in BusinessPlus and EnterprisePlus subscription plans
- IT personnel are preferred to undertake the actions in this guide
Stage 1: Activating the API
- Log In to your BundyPlus Live cloud account - my.bundyplus.com.au
- Click on Settings
- Click on Integrations
- Search for ClockComms
- ClickConnect
- Check the Enabled checkbox
- Copy the Consumer Key by clicking on the green icon to the right
- Paste it into notepad or somewhere we can retrieve it later.
- Update the Export profile
- Clocking sorting order - This solely changes the order the data is downloaded into the transactions file on the ClockComms software.

Location Data - Will export location data based on mobile app clocking event origin
- Coordinates - GPS location of saved clocking event
- Geofence External ID - Geofence location when clocked within a set geofence
- Click Save
Stage 2.0 : Configuring the API in ClockComms
- Open ClockComms Utility
- Open settings depending on ClockComms mode (Check mode here)
- Manual Mode: Click on the Settings button
- Automatic Repeat Mode: Press Ctrl+M on your keyboard
- Manual Mode: Click on the Settings button
- Click on Application
- Click on the External Database tab
- Select BundyPlus Cloud APIv2 as the Interface Type
- Select your Mode:
- Cloud - Allows you to configure ClockComms to Upload clocking events to cloud
- Desktop - Allows you to configure ClockComms to Download clockings from Cloud
- Paste the Consumer Key you retrieved from the Cloud into the Consumer Key field
- Click Test
- You should receive a Test successful window as below:

Click OK

Click Save
Stage 2.1 Create the Cloud Time clock
- Click on Time Clocks
- Click on Add
- Update the name - Cloud as example
- Select BundyPlus Cloud API as the Model
- Click Next
- Click the Test Cloud API Connection button on the right
- You should receive a Test successful window as below:
- Click OK
- Click Save
- Click Cancel
Stage 2.2 Update Available Commands
- Click Application
- Click the Timeclock Commands tab
- Select commands based on your Mode:
All these commands will display in the 'Available commands section in both Manual/Automatic(repeat) modes.-
Cloud mode
- Download Jobs from Cloud
- Download Departments from Cloud
- Download Employees from Cloud
- Upload Clockings to Cloud

- Upload Job Costings to Cloud
- Upload Employees to Cloud
- Download Clockings from Cloud

- Click Save
