Pronto Xi

Pronto XI's API integration with BundyPlus Live allows you to directly import/export employee timesheet data to streamline your payroll process.

This article will detail how to configure the API interface.

Requirements:

  • Pronto Credentials provided by your Pronto Consultant
    • Pronto Hostname
    • Pronto Username
    • Pronto Password

Configuring the API

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Integrations
  3. Search for Pronto XI
  4. Click Connect
  5. Click the Enabled checkbox
  6. Enter your Pronto XI credentials
  7. (Optional) Enable Import jobcosting if you require job costing. (Import Projects and Categories)
  8. Click Save and Test
  9. If Successful - Click Save
    If Unsuccessful - Confirm your credentials with your Pronto Consultant

 

Create your Payrun

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Payruns
  3. Click on Add Payrun
  4. Enter the Name of the Payrun
  5. Click Next
  6. Pay cycle and Start date can be left as default as all data will be exported automatically.
  7. Change integration type to Pronto XI
  8. Select the File format you want to export
    Both types require timesheet approval before exporting.
    • Clocking Periods (Approved) - Will export the actual clocking events to Pronto XI. No rounding will be actioned before exporting.
    • Pay Start & Pay End only (Approved) - Will export rounded pay start and end times managed by work rules.
  9. Enable Do you want to schedule automatic importing?
  10. Select your Import Frequency:
    • Hourly: Import employees every hour on the hour. eg, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm etc
    • Daily: Import daily at a specified time.
    • Weekly: Import weekly at a specified day and time.
    • Manual: Import only when clicking the Import Now button in the Settings > Payruns screen
      Note: This Import Now button will always appear for any mode to allow for ad-hoc import requirements
  11. Enable Do you want to schedule automatic exporting? 
  12. Select your Export frequency
    • Real-time: Export clocking events as they are uploaded into the cloud system
    • Hourly: Import employees every hour on the hour. eg, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm etc
    • Daily: Import daily at a specified time.
    • Weekly: Import weekly at a specified day and time.
    • Manual: Import only when clicking the Import Now button in the Settings > Payruns screen
      Note: This Import Now button will always appear for any mode to allow for ad-hoc import requirements
  13. Click Next
  14. Click Next (You will import your employees into this Payrun once the API is connected)
  15. Click Save

 

Import Employees

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Payruns
  3. Click on the Import Now button under the Auto Import Column
    • This will now start the employee import process into your cloud account
  4. Once the import process is complete, you can go to the Employees section and see your list of employees

You have now successfully configured your Pronto Xi API
