Introduction
Xero integration with BundyPlus Live allows you to directly import/export employee timesheet payable timesheet data to streamline your payroll process.
What does BundyPlus Live have access to?

What does this Integration do?
This integration will allow payroll admin users to export employee payable hours directly into Xero. Thus removing the requirement of manual data entry. Approval of times and payable hours are first completed in BundyPlus Live before exporting and creating the employee timesheet in Xero. The final step of the process is to approve employee timesheets in Xero for payroll.
How do i connect my BundyPlus Live account to my Xero account?
We will need to connect the two systems by connecting BundyPlus Live as an App to your Xero Account.

Requirements:
- Xero account with Payroll Admin permissions

Xero employees requirements:
- Be assigned to a 'Pay Calendar'
- Have an active default earnings rate (Found in Employee > Pay template tab in Xero)
- Have a unique email address in their Xero employee profile.
Connecting to Xero
- In BundyPlus Live, Click on Settings
- Click on Integrations
- Search for Xero

Click the Connect button
- Click on the Enable Checkbox
- Click on the 'Connect to Xero' button
- Log in to your Xero Account
Note: This step may be skipped if you are already logged into Xero on a seperate tab. - Select your Xero organisation
- Click on the 'Allow Access' button
- Confirm you have successfully integrated with Xero by checking the selected organisation.
You have now successfully integrated Xero with BundyPlus Live.
Creating your payrun and synchronising data
- Go to Settings
- Click on Payruns
- Click Add Payrun
- Name your Payrun (Example: Xero/Full Time/Casual etc)
- Select your Pay Cycle (Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly)
- Select your Pay Cycle start date (Must match Xero Pay frequency date cycle)
- Select Xero as your Export type
- Enable Do you want to schedule automatic importing?

Select your Import Frequency:
- Hourly: Import employees every hour on the hour. eg, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm etc
- Daily: Import daily at a specified time
- Weekly: Import weekly at a specified day and time
- Manual: Import only when clicking the Import Now button in the Settings > Payruns screen
Note: This Import Now button will always appear for any mode to allow for ad-hoc import requirements
- Hourly: Import employees every hour on the hour. eg, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm etc
- Click Next
- Click Next (No pre-existing employees to add)
- Click Save
- You will now be redirected to the Settings > Payrun Screen
- On this screen, click on the 'Import now' button
This will now import employees and pay items from Xero
From here you will need to create and assign each employee with a work rule. See guides below:

How do i know BundyPlus Live is a Connected App?
There are two ways to view this,- In BundyPlus Live, Go to Settings > Xero Integration and you will be able to see your connection details on the left side. See below:
- In Xero, Go to your Organisation settings > Click Connected Apps > BundyPlus Live will be on the list

Will i see my employee clockings in Xero?
No, Bundyplus Live only exports payable hours into their respective employee timesheets for final approval. -
How does BundyPlus Live know what to pay employees?
BundyPlus solely assigns payable hours via work rules that are preconfigured by Payroll admin/Supervisors or managers. Payable hours still need to be reviewed/approved before exporting to Xero. -
How do i disconnect BundyPlus Live?
You can disconnect this integration on both BundyPlus Live and Xero- In BundyPlus Live, Go to Settings > Integrations > Xero > Click on Disconnect from Xero
- In Xero, Click the organisation name > select Settings > Click Connected Apps > Click on the Disconnect button to the right of 'BundyPlus Live'
