ELMO

ELMO's integration with BundyPlus Live allows you to directly import/export employee timesheet data to streamline your payroll process.

This article will detail how to configure the API interface.

First, you will need the following:

• ELMO Customer Code
• ELMO Login Details (Username and Password)
• ELMO Configuration requirements:
  Payroll level: 'Use Clocking Devices?' enabled in Payroll > Payroll Setup > Payroll Maintenance > Payroll Settings > Under the 'Other' heading.
  Employee level: Clocking Method set to 'Use Clocking Device' in the employee profile

Configuring the API

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Integrations
3. Search for ELMO
4. Click on the Connect button
   
5. Tick the Enabled checkbox
6. Enter your ELMO Customer code
   
7. Enter your Login Details (Username + Password)
   
8. (Optional) Check the Import Clockers only checkbox to only import employees that have specifically been given access to 3rd party devices (Set in the Employee ELMO profile)
   
9. (Optional) Select the 'Enable Filtered Employee Importing' checkbox and enter the Payroll Name to import only employees associated with this payroll
   
10. Click Save and Test to ensure the details are correct
11. Click Save
    

Create your Payrun

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Payruns
3. Click on Add Payrun
4. Enter Details and go Next
5. Leave the date details as this does not affect the transactions being sent
6. Change export type to ELMO
7. Enable Do you want to schedule automatic importing? 
8. Select your Import Frequency:
   
   • Hourly: Import employees every hour on the hour. eg, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm etc
     
   • Daily: Import daily at a specified time.
   • Weekly: Import weekly at a specified day and time.
   • Manual: Import only when clicking the Import Now button in the Settings > Payruns screen
     Note: This Import Now button will always appear for any mode to allow for ad-hoc import requirements
9. Enable Do you want to schedule automatic exporting? 
10. Select your Export frequency
    • Real-time: Export clocking events as they are uploaded into the cloud system
    • Hourly: Import employees every hour on the hour. eg, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm etc
      
    • Daily: Import daily at a specified time.
    • Weekly: Import weekly at a specified day and time.
    • Manual: Import only when clicking the Import Now button in the Settings > Payruns screen
      Note: This Import Now button will always appear for any mode to allow for ad-hoc import requirements
11. Click Next
12. Click Next (You will import your employees into this Payrun once the API is connected)
13. Click Save

Import Employees

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Payruns
3. Click on the Import Employees Now button under the Auto Import Column
   • This will now start the employee import process into BundyPlus Live
4. Once the import process is complete, you can go to the Employees section and see your list of employees

You have now successfully configured your ELMO API.
