Virtual clocking work rules are best used to automatically assign payable hours on timesheets of employees that don't necessarily clock in. These work rule types can also be used to assign time to Public Holidays, Annual Leave, Sick leave etc.
Creating Time Types
- Click Time Types from the BundyPlus Command Centre
- Click New
- Input the details for the time type
- Click Save
Creating the Work Rule
- Click on Work Rules from the BundyPlus Command Centre
- Click New
- Click Yes or No to use the Wizard
- Using the Wizard
- Enter Work rule Name
- Click OK
- Select Yes or No to enable/disable sections within the break rules
- Time Type Rules - Enables the Automatic allocation of payable hours
- Automatic Break Rules - Enables the Automatic allocation of Unpaid breaks
- Clocking Rules - Enables the ability to set start/end pay times with tolerance rounding
- Allowance Rules - Enables rules to calculate allowances earned based on hours worked
- Not using the Wizard
- Name the Work Rule. Eg. Annual Leave
- Check I Use Time types and I Use Clocking Rules
- Using the Wizard
- Click the Clocking rules tab
- Check the Use Virtual Clockings Checkbox
- Input the normal pay start and end times in a standard work day amounting to an 8 hour day for example.
- Click the Time Type Rules tab
- Change the settings in this screen as below (or to how you need it)
- Click Save
