If you have purchased a bell from our store here and you need to configure the bell times, then see below to Set Relay Events. In order for this to work correctly, we advise that you get an electrician or someone who understands how to correctly connect the bell to your Time Clock. Also ensuring that they tell you which relay the bell has been connected to.
Create Event via BundyPlus
- From the BundyPlus Command Centre, Select Sirens and Access Control
- Click New
- Add the Siren/Access Control Event Details as needed
Ensure that the below fields are set according to your specifications- Clock number
- Days
- Time
- Event Type
- Activate
- Relay Duration fields
- Click Save
- Click Back
- Click Yes when you are prompted by BundyPlus to Update your Time Clocks
Create file manually to upload
- Create a new Notepad file
- Save it as Relay.txt in the Primary Import/Export Directory of ClockComms
- Each line represents a new bell time.
See examples below:
****.****,0900,0111110,1,M,05
- ****.**** - Is the site and clock number of the clock. This will send the relay trigger to all clocks. Otherwise, enter the specific clock's site.clock number you would like this relay trigger sent to. Eg. 0001.0020
- 0900 - is the 24 hour time format for what time the bell should be activated. This would be 9am.
- 0111110 – each digit corresponds to which day of the week the bell will ring. In this case its Monday to Friday. The days are viewed as sun/mon/tue/wed/thur/fri/sat
- 1 – Which channel the bell is connected to on the clock
G6 Clocks: Either CH1 or CH2
G8 Clocks: CH1 Only - M – Bell will ring momentarily
- 05 – Bell will ring for 5 seconds (or whatever you want it to set to. Can be 09 for 9 seconds)
- Save File
Upload file to your Clock
- Open ClockComms Utility
- Select Set Relay Events under Available commands
- Click Start to send the Siren/access control events to your Time Clocks
You have now set the time clocks relay events
