This guide will detail how to configure multi-factor Authentication for Employees on the Uface Standard series devices.
Important Notes
- Multi-factor settings per profile are device specific and do not synchronise with other devices.
- This guide must be actioned per Uface Standard device within your BundyPlus environment
Requirements
- Time Clock Model: Uface Standard Series
- Existing employee profiles on the device
Configure MFA
- Tap on the settings icon at the bottom right
- Enter your password
- Tap on User Management
- Scroll down the screen until you see Permission Information
- Uncheck the single authentication methods (Face, Card)
- Check the multi-factor authentication method of your choice (Face+Card, Card+Password. No QR Code compatibility)
- Depending on your configured MFA, ensure they have been set for this profile
- Face recognition
- Tap on the large + sign and register your images
- Password
- Tap on the Password field and add a 6 digit password
- Card No.
- Tap on the Blue Enroll card No text to the right of the Card No field
- Hover the card on the card section on the device
- Once recognised, the number will populate in the field
- Face recognition
- Tap Save
